New Hallowe'en Products ...

Hi !
I am making videos this morning to show you some of the new products. There are so many new papers & embellishments that I thought videos might be the quickest and most thorough way to show them to you. It's nice to show all the bits & pieces and to be able to talk about what we can use them for. My first video was for the 2 new Hallowe'en lines. The first line is a vintage style and the second is cute. I hope you take a look - even if you are not into Hallowe'en - just for fun !!
I have made 2 more videos about some new Christmas lines and I will get them uploaded in the next few days.
I have learned that I need to remember to turn off the radio before I film and that my voice cracks me up. I sound  ... very mellow. LOL.

Kits & Dies ...

Hello !
My second post this week ... and  hopefully I will have at least one more !
I unpacked 19 orders this week !! Insane. Many preorders & backorders arrived. I have dies, TONS of paper, embellishments, stamps, etc. There are new paper lines from Simple Stories, My Mind's Eye., Fab Scraps, Basic Grey ... and more to come. Lots of new Christmas & Hallowe'en !!
So today, I have 2 kits to share with you as well as an album of the new dies & stamps. There is so much more to share that I am going to try to do a video - or a series of videos- showcasing the new paper lines. We'll see how I make out with that ...lol. That will be next week.

So here we go !
Card Kits :
Kit #1: This kit shows that a little sprinkle of sequins can add just the right touch of sparkle ! You get all the materials to make all 3 cards for just $5. There are 2 different chalkboard embellishments - you will get one or the other in your kit ! Randomly packed.

Kit #2 : this kit is more nostalgic - funny little snowmen, vintage art, and advertising ephemera decorate these cards. The embellishments vary from kit to kit but they are all from the same line and all very cute. They will remind you of childhood Christmas images ! Again, 3 cards for $5.

Now for the new dies ... I unpacked a stack of them and am expecting 2 more boxes in the next 2 weeks ... plenty of dies !!  Some of these may sell out quickly as I have had names down for some of them ... people patiently waiting ! But I have more coming in the next few weeks. But don't miss out - let me know which ones you want !!

Well, that's it for now. I have instructions to write, kits to assemble, new stock to put out. This weekend I will be putting out new stock as well as working on the big reveal next week of the lovely holiday paper lines. Exciting !! Hope to see you this Friday !!

Oh SN@P !!!

Hi everyone !!
I am linking you to an album I just posted about the SN@P products. There are 54 photos to explain the various products and how you can use them. They are made for pocket scrapbooking but can be used in soooo many ways !! I don't scrapbook really but I love them . I used a package of the INSTA SQUARES & PIECES and a package of the 3X4 Cards and I made FIFTY EIGHT cards ... yes ! 58 cards ... in an afternoon. And 6 tags ... and had a few pieces left over. I used the cat ones because ... well, you know, I ♥ cats, but there are many other themes. Birthday, Baby Boy, Baby Girl, Dogs, Summer, Travel , Christmas, Wedding , Family ... etc.
The products are wonderful in the SN@P albums and would be great for scrapbookers with less time or maybe younger beginner scrapbookers. I think teens and tweens would love making fun albums with their instagram photos.
The SN@P designers have also designed products to be used to turn the snap albums into wonderful recipe books.
I also think they would be great in traditional scrapbook layouts and mini albums.
But I choose to make birthday and note cards and also want to use the larger cards to make gift bags ... it's important to think OUTSIDE the scrapbook !!...

I am going to use my Envelope Punch Board to make fun colourful envelopes out of my crazy paper stash and then do up little bundles of note cards as gifts for my cat loving friends !

New & New ... and Kits.

Hello !!
I have some new paper for you, a whole stack of stickers (Peel Offs actually), and some other odds & ends. Then I have kits ... a sympathy card kit and a glittery Christmas card kit.
I hope to be back later this week with a little album about the *Snap* products and the many ways you can use them - albums, mini albums, layouts, recipe books, cards ... so keep watching for that.
Let's take a look at what I have now though ...

Weekly Card Kits :
Sympathy cards ... you get all the materials to make these 3 cards for just $5.

Christmas cards ... Simple & Sparkly !! These cards are very simple but they are very blingy.

You get materials for 3 cards but each kit is different.
You will get one owl (4 possible designs)

and another glittery animal ( 4 more possible designs)

 as well as a golden ornament (styles vary). I have made the kits up randomly so I can't tell you what is in each one but they are all very cute ... and sparkly !  Materials for 3 cards for $5.

Now ... what's new !
I have new paper from Echo park called "Fine & Dandy" ... such fun & cute designs. The jar die that coordinates as well as the stickers are also very cute. Hallowe'en paper is also starting to come in with more Hallowe'en and some Christmas paper arriving next week.
I also have lots of new Peel Offs including many Christmas sentiments that would be wonderful on Christmas cards.

New Stock, New Look !

I'm back ! This has been a loooong week. I decided to move some shelving which then meant moving about 50% of the stuff in the store. One of those "what have I done ??" moments. So it has been long days and longer nights but I got quite a bit done. I still have a few more weeks of work to get everything organized the way I would like it , but I am getting there !!
Because of this I could only get the one card kit done. There won't be a Christmas one this week but I will have one next week. I did get a few boxes unpacked today too so I have those to share. The other boxes will also have to wait until next week. So more new things next week, lol. If you missed this week's card kit, scroll down to the previous post. Card Kit :
It is sometimes difficult to find cards for little boys. So here is a set for those little super heroes. Bright & energetic, they send a happy birthday message to the celebrant !

The Stand Up Helper dies can be used to make stand up easel style cards or just cut out & adhered as sentiments. But imagine , using them as stand ups, all the new designs you can make !!

New & Kits !

HI everyone !

I have two kits this week and a few new things as well as another post about the new KLiK jewelry parts (scroll down for that). I have several more orders to unpack but those things will have to wait until next week, lol.
If you scroll down to the KLiK post , you will see that it is a link to the post that I did on Facebook. You do not have to be on Facebook to view it. You can read it just like any other post. It is like a little photo album. I do believe that you can't comment on the post directly if you are not a Facebooker, but you can comment here as usual or email me. I will probably do this more often because the posts with many photos take me SO LONG on the blog !! I have to load & edit the photos then  resize every photo individually and then load them all again ( which seems to take forever). Then I can do the post. On Facebook, I simply load the photos & add captions. Takes minutes. So in order to save a few hours every Wednesday, I will be linking to the posts with more photos. That will give me more time to unpack !! ;)

CARD KITS : I have tasked myself with using up a huge box of embellishments so every week will be a surprise ! This week I have a Christmas kit and a sea themed set of cards.

The Christmas cards use "Pixies" from Doodlebug. They are little embellishments with tabs on each side that slide over a teeny straw. They are meant to be used on layouts, decor, on cupcakes, etc... I decided they would work well strung on cards. On one card I did use the stick too. Here is the kit ...
($5 for the supplies for all 3 cards)

The other set is sea inspired ... calm , relaxing, serene colours. I have used some great papers from Pink Paislee called "Nantucket" as well as some seashell paper . The embellishments are linen-look cards, glossy hexagons, and sparkly 3D shells. I hope you like them ! ($5 for supplies for 3 cards)

NEW ...
We R Memory Keepers ... they have some new embossing folders, punch boards, and a trim & score board. Their tools are always excellent !
The embossing folders come in a 2 pack and are $12.59. The folders are 6x6 and have a great grid on the back of each one to make alignment very easy.
(Please note that they are 6x6 - be sure to measure your machine to see if it will take a 6" wide folder as there is no return on opened embossing folders. Thanks.)

MARKERS ! I just unpacked a selection of markers, both black & white.

White Markers.
These markers take a while to get started but once they do, they work really well, as you can see in the sample.
You have to shake the marker to get the mixing ball moving and then push it on the paper to get the ink flowing.
I will say it took a while to get it started but then I had no problem. So just be patient. :)
The ink is a nice solid white.

GLUE ... THE.BEST.GLUE.EVER.
This Beacon 3-in-1 glue is the best glue I have ever used. I always see it being used & recommended by bloggers & crafters so I decided I would give it a try. WOW !! It grabs quickly, tacks quickly, dries clear & fast. It was wonderful . I used it to glue the metal jar lid on my camera album. I just put down a very fine bead of glue, placed the lid on it ,and it held on. No slipping. Dried very quickly. It is my favourite glue now !

And here's a little bargain for you ... 6x6 paper pads , 30 sheets per pad, just $2.89 each !!

Busy Week !

Hi Folks !
A really busy week this week. I have the new KLiKs display all set up and ready to sell.
I will have a blog post tomorrow with details as well as whatever is in the 3 boxes I will be unpacking today. lol. And there will be card kits too !!
