Lots to Share !

Hello everyone on this sweltering day ... yuck, hard to believe it's September. Anyway, I have lots of Hallowe'en and Christmas products to share - that should turn our minds to more pleasant temperatures ! There is so much new this week - and so much more coming in the next few weeks - that I decided to do videos. In a video, I can show you all the papers, open & display all the packages of embellishments, and tell you a bit about the line and project ideas. And all in just a few minutes. The photo route takes hours and is no where near as thorough. So, why not make a 'cuppa' and get ready to watch the videos.
So first up is this week's card kit ...
KIT OF THE WEEK :
This week's kit uses some bright & cheery vellum stickers. Add a few fun embellishments, twine, paper, and a wee clothespin, and you have 3 fun cards. You get the materials for all 3 for just $5.
PLEASE NOTE : It won't be ready until Friday ... I need to get ink to print the directions. Just ran out. 

 PAPER :
Lots of new paper lines & accessories.
 * My Mind's Eye : "Just Sayin' " ... this line is so pretty ! It is pinks, coral, blush, mint, and GOLD. And I mean glittery fabulous gold. But the best part is that it DOES NOT COME OFF !!!!

* My Mind's Eye : "Sleigh Bells Ring" - a beautiful homespun, almost Nordic line. Love the colours, the plaid, the deer. Love it all !!

* Simple Stories : "Cozy Christmas" .. this line is wonderful ! It combines photographic elements, "joy", hand writing, some iconic images (old red truck, sled, etc) as well as lots of wood grain. Stunning !

* My Mind's Eye : "Frightful" - very vintage/retro style and glamorous too !! I love the orange glitter and the glittered diecuts.

* Simple Stories "Frankie & Friends" - this is the very first Hallowe'en line from Simple Stories. It's more cute than spook so it would be perfect for layouts for your children's costumes, treat bags, or home decor. Cute, cute, and cute !!

New Hallowe'en Products ...

Hi !
I am making videos this morning to show you some of the new products. There are so many new papers & embellishments that I thought videos might be the quickest and most thorough way to show them to you. It's nice to show all the bits & pieces and to be able to talk about what we can use them for. My first video was for the 2 new Hallowe'en lines. The first line is a vintage style and the second is cute. I hope you take a look - even if you are not into Hallowe'en - just for fun !!
I have made 2 more videos about some new Christmas lines and I will get them uploaded in the next few days.
I have learned that I need to remember to turn off the radio before I film and that my voice cracks me up. I sound  ... very mellow. LOL.

This Week's News ...

Hi everyone !
As usual, I am rushing ... I have a 40lb box of beads arriving this afternoon so I need to get these other things done so I can dive in !! Be prepared though, it will be next week before it gets fully unpacked & put out - it is a slow process !! (Here's a little update ... It's not arriving until almost 5 and it is too darn hot to come back tonight so it will be next week before we discover what's in the next box !!)
But there is lots of new product to talk about anyway ! Let's go !!
BEADS :
I had a lovely box arrive right from China on Tuesday and I am thrilled with the products. Here is a quick look ... I have the beads all out in the trays but will be packaging up bulk bags that will be even more economical . Look for those next week. in the meantime, the individual beads are available ... and featured in this week's kit !!

Sparkly or rubberized !

These are some really fun little acrylic beads... flowers & leaves.

They range in price from 5 cents to 25 cents and are used in this week's kit.

I will be doing them up in bulk bags for next week, as well.

They come in various colours or plain - you add the colour !! Alcohol ink works really well ... I will have samples next week.

Watch for a fun summer bracelet next week too !!

PAPER :

The first Christmas paper of the season has arrived !! Authentique's "Festive" is here ! Lovely heavy paper, very vintage ... really nice ! Classic. There are also matching elements and 6x6 mini decks. Time to start your projects !!

                                                           

Stamps : new stamps from Stampendous, Inky Antics, and Stampers Anonymous (Tim Holtz & Wendi Vecchi). Some of the stamps are old favourites for Christmas but I re-ordered them because they were on sale - and who doesn't like a good deal ?!

Jewelry kit of the Week ...
This is a very vintage style earring - and so pretty ! They are quite small & very dainty. The picture makes them look bigger as it is a really close up !! You will get all the supplies + a photo + instructions for $3.25.

A Few Videos for you ...

Hi !
Second post this week !!
In lieu of a card kit , I made two videos and have the products you need to try them yourselves. So the first is homemade washi tape ... and I have tissue mounted on 2 sided adhesive (approx 5x12) for $1 a sheet. All you need are your stamps and ink.
The second is colouring seam binding . I show 3 different methods. At the store you will find bags of white seam binding 10yds/$2.99 as well as the Glimmer Mists, Distress Stains, and text stamps .
