Card Kits & a Sale !

I have a few card kits to share ... there will be one each week for the next three weeks. Some of the kits will be limited in quantity as my supply of materials is also limited so reserve yours now !

Kit #1 ... available this week January 22 & 23.

This kit makes 3 cards and includes all the necessary materials as well as instructions.
There are a few fun embellishments in this one ... plastic arrows, wire paper clips, and laser cut chipboard.

Kit #2 ... available January 29 & 30 .

This kit allows you to personalize your card by adding the initials of YOUR valentine on the carved tree !
I've added some interesting embellishments to this kit too ... vellum/plastic diecuts, charms, and metallic brads.

Kit #3 ... available February 5 & 6.

This kit is designed around a sheet of stickers ... so you will get that sheet as well as all the materials
and the embellishments to make these three cards.
Again, the embellishments add some whimsy to the cards ...
a sweet 3D Doodlepop diecut, a wee clothespin, and a brad in the form of glasses !

I am excited to share with you this ... a Customer Rewards Card !!

I have been wanting to find a way to reward & thank loyal customers ... to show my appreciation ... and this is it !
For every $20 before taxes, you will get a circle filled in. When the card is full, you will get $20 off your next purchase ! Easy as that !
Now, the $20 doesn't include taxes, shipping fees, sale items, or discounted items. Nor does it include items that have been on hold for more than 2 weeks. But for everything that is purchased at regular price and in a timely fashion, the dollar amounts count !! I'll keep the cards on file here at the store, so your card will always be where you need it. We'll just keep filling in those circles and then, one day, you will find a nice little $20 credit waiting for you to treat yourself !

Now, in order to do this, I had to tighten up my sales policies. I've been wanting to give rewards to my wonderful customers but I wasn't able to do that with special orders & layaways piling up , not being picked up or items being on hold for months, so here are the new sale policies as well as the existing return policy. I have struggled with this in the past but am finding that it is of utmost importance now. Businesses have to be leaner and more careful. With the shrinking dollar and increased costs, I need to keep track of all these things but I think by doing so, it will be easy to reward my much appreciated loyal customers. Thank you so much for your support these past years and for your understanding of why I need to keep better track. 

SALES POLICY :
* Special orders require a 50% deposit.
* New items on the blog or Facebook page will be held for pick up & payment for 2 weeks only and then they will be returned to stock. A quick email transfer will ensure that your items are kept for you. Not picking up items may result in no further holds without payment.
* Layaways and in-store holds will require a 25% nonrefundable deposit and then must be paid in full within 4 weeks.
* Items to be shipped can still be held to be shipped with other items to reduce shipping costs but they must be paid for at the time of the hold.

RETURN POLICY :
* returns MUST be accompanied by the receipt within 30 days of purchase.
* items must be in GOOD, UNOPENED condition .
* for store credit or exchange .

* NO RETURNS on the following ...

  - anything used for cutting - dies, punches, scissors, cutters, etc.
Please be sure that is the product you want before purchasing. If you want to see the die better 
and better understand how it cuts, please ask. I will be happy to help you with that. I cannot take     them back once they have been used. 
Also, please be aware that some of the very detailed dies are more difficult to use. They may require extra plates or metal shims. They may also need to be passed through the cutting machine multiple times as well as being rotated each time. Be sure your machine is up to the task. Some of the smaller machines struggle and may need a metal shim plate to work their best. If you have a die that doesn't cut well , it may just take a bit more time & patience. If you have trouble, I can certainly try it in my cutter and help you with advice on how to get it to work for you. 
If the die is defective, I will contact the company and we will get it resolved for you.

New Stock, Card Kit, Bead Ideas , and more.

I have a whole list of shares ... let's go !

*Here is the first card kit of 2016 ... this kit makes 4 cards and is $6.

You get everything you need to make the four cards except the adhesive and a piece of sanding paper or sanding block. Actually, that isn't necessary if you choose to use the paper as is but it is a lot of fun to sand it and expose the pattern. So in the kit you get the card bases, 4 colours of bakers twine, 4 pieces of embossed sandable cardstock, and a 12x12 sheet of embellishments. You will have enough embellishments to put some inside the cards as well as on the fronts and then you will still have a pile left over ... for more cards, tags, or whatever you wish !

* 12x12 cardstock. After reviewing my inventory & sales, I have decided to discontinue selling 12x12 plain cardstock. Please note that I will continue selling 8.5x11 cardstock. Also I  will special order 12x12 cardstock in packages and assortments on request. I will keep stocking the rack with what I have but once it is gone, I will no longer be selling it by the individual sheet. So ... now is a good time to stock up ! I sell it for 75 cents a sheet but if you buy 20 or more sheets , it is just 65 cents. Why not choose some of your favourite colours and have them on hand ?

* Now on to new ... I have lots of lovely new papers with a good variety of themes ... dog, cat, sports, nautical. farm market, florals, beachy, chickens, boho style designs, mandalas, and more. I have put out more Valentine papers & embellishments as well. There are new dies & stamps, cute DoodlePops, washi tape, and more. I'll give you a few teaser photos and then the link to the album so you can see all 66 photos !

* Here's a handy product !

I had these made for my own cards and had extras made to sell. They are post it notes that read ...
                                              Share the love and save a tree !
                             Remove this message and add your own to send this on to a friend. 

I put 2 or 3 in a card so that I can write on the first one, and then my friend can remove that note and use the card again. With 3 post its, the card will get 4 uses !! Your lovely work will travel to several people and bypass the recycling bin !
They are $3.99 for a pad of 50.

* Swarovski Crystal Hearts ... the little crystal heart beads are so pretty and are perfect for Valentine projects !

Ready for Valentine's Day & Lots More !

Hello !
Well the Christmas things are all gone and there are all sorts of new things to share. Time to get some serious crafting started !
I have a whole table set up with stamps, dies, stickers, bling, stencils, embellishments and more ... all in pinks & reds, with hearts and love ... to make valentine cards and projects with.

I have sorted through all the dies and stamps and tidied them all up. They are all in labeled bins, ready for shoppers. 

Now ... new things ! I have all sorts of papers to share, new embellishments, stamps, dies, and inks . I'll share a few photos and then the link so you can see the whole album. There are valentine papers, wedding papers, paper you can colour !, paper for pirates & circuses, and just plain beautiful paper. I hope there is something for everyone.

There are also some fun embellishments to go with those paper lines as well as matching stamps & dies. 

There are new inks including the last Distress Ink of the month for 2015 and the last 4 mini ink cubes.

I also now have the Tim Holtz Distress Glitter Dust ... and oh my !! It sparkles like no glitter I have ever seen.

Here's another fun new product - The Sizzix Sandwich booklet. If you are sometimes unsure of which plate to use with which product, this is the booklet for you ! Having this on hand will ensure that you get the best results with your dies and embossing folders.

Please Note ...

Hello.
Please note that I will no longer be open Wednesday evenings. Sorry but I've spent too many of them by myself, lol.
I will be open , as usual, every Friday from 10am to 5pm.
And for the month of January, I will continue being open Saturdays from 10am to noon. This is a bit of a trial run ... if it is busy Saturday mornings, I'll extend it to the next month.
