Just a Quick Update ...
Tim Holtz Distress markers are finally here !! I received a few sets and have a great buy on them ... 37 markers (reg $3.99 each ...$147.63 + container) for $100 !!!! I have already sold a few sets ... so don't wait too long !! I will happily set them aside but they must be picked up this week. ( I do have my name down for more and have the individual markers coming soon ...) but the deal won't last long !!!

New New New !!
This is kind of an exciting week ! There is lots of new product, new kits, a tour of my new workspace, and VIDEOS !!! I tried last night to make my first very video and it turned out pretty good ! I need to work on the lighting but I'll get it figured out. I hope to have a new video every few weeks. I think it is a great way to share new products, techniques, and projects. I hope you enjoy them too !

Here is a photo of the pieces I made last night ... the left is just an image that I stamped and then covered completely in the warm tone highlights. The left is a border strip I made for a card using 3 colours of Glitter Ritz. I love how the colours DO NOT MIX !!!

This card is for a bit more involved type of card than the usual ... a gatefold card with a decorative slide off band. The kit makes 2 cards ... one birthday card and one that can be either. The Mother's Day tag is reversible with Birthday Wishes stamped on the other side . So it is up to you !! All the supplies are included, precut and prefolded for $5.

I have had many people ask to buy the samples I have on display. I finally decided to make some jewelry for sale ! There will be a framed display as you enter the bead room . I currently have some earrings using handmade borosilicate glass beads for sale. So for all you non-beaders who are looking for jewelry ... I hope I have something you like ! I will be adding more as time allows.
Tour of my new workspace ... my husband & I have been working really hard for several months on a new workspace for me ... and it is almost done !! There are still some wires to be moved and a control panel to be covered, but I am now able to work in it ... and I love it !! I thought I would share some pictures with you ...
So that's most of it !! I'll post more pictures when we get the rest all done. Hopefully it may give you some ideas for how to organize your supplies !!

Lots to See !!
Hi everyone !!
Blogger has changed their format ... let's see how I make out with this post !! I am not much of an eager "changer" !! (OOOOH ... but I see I can "strike out" words now ... always wanted to be able to do that !!)
There are lots of photos this week ... so I apologize if you are on dial up ... I was going to post some pictures from my almost complete work space at home but will wait til next week (or whenever there are fewer photos). And that leads me to this ... CARD KITS ARE BACK !!! (yay ... I am so happy to be back in that groove !!)
So let's see what's new !
BEADS :
* Stainless steel wire. This is exciting because :
1. it never changes colour.
2. it is great for people with allergies.
3. it comes in round, half round, and square as well as many sizes.
4. it has a bit of an industrial or vintage colour.
* BULK crimp TUBES. In the past, I could only get the small packs from Beadalon. Now I have bags of 1000 for only $12.99 !!
* Antique Brass findings ... headpins, earwires, extenders, jump rings, etc.
JEWELRY KIT OF THE WEEK ...
I love these earrings , mainly because of the beads. They are Unicorn Beads. The beads are handmade from borosilicate glass and are gorgeous. They are almost luminous. So the kits this week include the Unicorn dice beads and all the other necessary supplies as well as a picture for $5. This is actually a bargain as the beads alone are $4.50 !! But when they are gone, they are gone ! I will not be stocking them as the price has increased significantly.
PAPER:

... lovely chipboard embellishements. I used them in the card kits and love them ! You can buy packages of them for $5.99 or buy individual pieces ... whichever you choose !
gorgeous butterflies. ... mini stamps. Only $2.29 pkg. I think these little stamps are great ! Look at the beautiful ship as well as all the other designs.
* more stamps from Unity Stamp Company ( love the sheep & monkey !!), Imaginisce minis, Ranger Dylusions from artist Diane Reaveley ( I love these stamps and can just imagine them coloured in or paper pieced !!)
* more HoneyPOP honeycomb paper in rainbow (sold out last week !) as well as magenta.
* more Smash accessories
* more hand dyed crinkle ribbon. I did some in pinks & roses.
* Words to the Rescue stamps ... perfect for Birthday cards & Sympathy cards ... and check out those beautiful Prima butterflies !!
* and I found a few card kits from past weeks when I was going through boxes ... so check the green basket in the first room.
Here are a few samples I made this week ...
- using She Art by Christi Tomlinson for Pink Paislee ... I used the 6x6 paper, rubons, and the diecuts to make some really quick cards !
- using the new Inkadinkado Stamps ... peacock done in chalk inks and also embellished with Stickles as wellas the leaf stamp as a background using chalk inks on one and Versamark Watermark ink on the other for a tone on tone look ...

This week's card kit is all about adding collage pieces and embellishments. Sometimes a little "somethin' somethin' " just adds so much ! The kit uses paper from Graphic 45 Little Darlings and Pink Paislee London Market as well as embellishments from Prima, Maya Road, and Pink Paislee. You get the supplies and instructions, precut & ready to assembled, for all three cards for $5.
So there is something for everyone ... hopefully ! Hope to see you all !!

PAPER :
* new paper from Amy Tangerine for American Crafts ... this is such fun paper ! The colours are gorgeous and full of life . Pinks, oranges, aquas, greens with a nice dose of black & white. It is lively and joyful. There are all also 6x6 pads of these papers and some great diecuts.
This one reminds me so much of Zentangle. Do you know Zentangle ? It is a new doodling craze. Google it ! Anyway, think Doodle Art. This would be fun to colour in with Copics or other markers !

* Inkadinkado stamps ... more fo the green stamps that we all underestimated last Christmas. remember those ? They look chunky and ... well, weird and cheap, I guess if I am being honest ... BUT when you stamp with them you get a TERRIFIC image with lots of details. Once I made samples with the Christmas ones, they sold out in a day. So I am excited to take these home & experiment. I really love the peacock ( already thinking STICKLES !!), the leaf silhouettes are amazing, and the Old Coins hold some intersting possibilities . AND the sets are only $3.50 each !! B.A.R.G.A.I.N.

Fun Swingy Earrings !
These earrings are nice and long (to give you a nice long neck !!) and feature lovely lampwork beads. get the supplies & a picture for $3.
I also have these longer ear wires in sterling silver for those of you who have metal allergies. They are $5.99 a pair but the really nice thing about these earwires is that the beaded piece can be slid on & off ... you'll only need one pair and can change the dangles !!
