It is very cold out ... to me, this means perfect weather for making a pot of tea, putting on a big old flannel shirt, and breaking out the crafting supplies !! Last night I did some stamping, painted some jewelry pieces, made a few tags, and baked a cake . This weather makes me happily "nesty" ! So why not bundle up this week, come for a visit (you can toast in front of the pellet stove) , and stock up on supplies ... and then get creative !!
PAPER :
I have been busily catching up on all the new releases, watching the retailers' videos, and doing my pre-orders. So many wonderful new things !!
And today I have been unpacking ... loads of adhesives & pop dots, glue dots, cardstock, and other basics that have run low.
Back in stock is Texture Paste ... great fun with all the new stencils & masks.
And I have also found some more of the Newsprint Owl stamp from Hero Arts ... a few of you have been looking for it ... as well as the Sizzix Big Die of the adorable owl.
Oh, and look ! There's some new Mr Huey Masks from Studio Calico and a new Penny Black background stamp.
I still have one more box to unpack ... who knows what I may find ?!
CARD KIT OF THE WEEK :
This week's kit is all about kraft ... plain kraft, patterned kraft, kraft tags, ... I love kraft !! These cards are all for birthdays and could be for just about anyone - young or old. Kraft does that ... it bridges the generations ... ;). Anyway ... you will get all the supplies for all 3 cards - ready to assemble - for $5. Leave a comment if you want any saved !
BEADS :
And once I finish the box of paper crafting supplies , I have a 50lb+ box of beading supplies ! Lots of wire, seed beads, findings, metal blanks, wooden beads, filigree, more of that crazy inexpensive silver acrylic trim ( and bronze now too !!) that you have been buying me out of for cards, bags, cords, chains, stringing materials ... lots !!
I have been selling the plain embossed metal pendants like I used in these necklaces but I have had many requests for them painted as I did mine. So last night, they were some the items I painted. I added the patina paints, sanded them to reveal the metal embossing, and sealed them. A final buff and they are ready to go !
The plain pieces are $2.99 and the finished pieces with the Patinas are $4.99. Hope you like them !!
Well, I must go ... lots more to unpack ! Have a great week and drop in !

Here are a few pictures of some of the projects I have been working on ... These are for a future kit ... |
I'll leave you with a picture of Nelly quite enjoying the pellet stove & her new bed ... living the dream !!
