So ! What's Coming in 2015 ?

Hi !
Hope you are all dug out . We weren't able to get out at all for 2 days - we tried each day but buried the car each time. Today (Day 3) we were able to get out using an alternate route. Our regular way to work is still impassable , even the snowplow hasn't been able to get through. There is a crazy amount of snow and the winds off the bay just added to it. But it is a glorious day today and all that snow is so beautiful !
I thought I would share with you some of the great products and lines I have pre-ordered for 2015. These items will be coming in over the next 3 months or so ... I really can't tell you exactly when on any of them. There are a few factors that are making delivery dates a bit fluid ... weather and a port strike in the US that is holding up many shipments ... but it will all get here when it can and I will share as soon as it arrives ! So , make yourself a tea - it's a long one ! - and take a stroll through some amazing new things ! Leave me a comment to tell me which items you are excited about !
* AVERY ELLE ... a wonderful stamp and die line.

* VELLUM PAPERS with designs on them in colours, metallics, glossy, etc. Designs like numbers, confetti , etc ...  from American Crafts and others.
* PRINTED TRANSPARENCIES ... cute patterns like clouds, paw prints, flamingos, etc ... from Bella Blvd, Crate Paper, and more.
* ART IMPRESSIONS ... great new stamps ! They have several new lines this year :
- Windows ... these stamps create little square images that are perfect for colouring and painting. The end result looks like a painting.

- Spinners - these images are stamped and cut out, then added on a string to an opening in the card so they spin. Very fun !!

The cards made with this style of stamp are really cute ... I googled this one and found a card made by the talented Kristina Werner. She even has a You Tube tutorial ... watch it here or on You Tube. I subscribe to her channel - lots of great cards !

These cards give you a fun image on the front peeking through an opening with another , usually funny, image on the inside.

* Tim Holtz ... I will have his new dies & texture fades from Sizzix, his new stamps & stencils, thinlets (dies & stamps) , as well as his new Ideology products. Some great new things coming !!
His Mini Blueprints are being released this year in sets of 4 stamps. Each set has a theme like Christmas, birthday, the sea, etc... . In the past, the stamps came in sets of 12 and usually included 3 different themes - and some people just didn't want all three themes. So now , it will be much easier - you can simply choose the ones you want !!

* DIES ... new dies coming from Memory Box , Sizzix, Spellbinders, Bo Bunny, WeR Memory Keepers, Lawn Fawn, Penny Black, I.O. , Couture, and more.

* BAZZILL has some great new products. They include mylar paper, foil in many colours, and kraft with gold metallic accents. All these papers die cut beautifully even with the wafer thin dies. I can't wait to try them !!

* EMBOSSING FOLDERS ... lots of new ones coming from Sizzix , Couture, and Darice. 

* PRIMA :  I am really excited about Prima's new Watercolour Pencils. They come in beautiful sets and look lovely to use. If you have never used watercolour pencils, you are in for a treat. They are as easy to use as coloured pencils but once you add water, you get the look of watercolour painting. Fabulous !!

Some other wonderful new products coming from Prima - stamps, Julie Nutting doll stamps, stencils, flowers, paints, mixed media art products, embellishments, crystals, and stickers as well as paper. 

* SPECTRUM NOIR ...  blendable coloured pencils ... coming soon !!

* SIZZIX ... in addition to the new dies and embossing folders, Sizzix has introduced a precise base plate for cutting thin dies, a brush tool and pads for getting die cuts out of the dies, coloured cutting plates so you can find them more easily on your work table, ink sheets so any die can be used as a stamp, and stamps & die sets. They also have a little very inexpensive jig that you can use with the Deboss Folders to add ink so they are like printing press plates. Very exciting !

* BO BUNNY... Bo Bunny has several new paper lines but they have some other interesting new products ... more stencils, some lovely dies, glitter paste in more colours, laser cut chipboard, and stamps.

* NEW PAPERS AND ACCESSORIES ... Authentique, Graphic 45, Bo Bunny, Crate Paper (lots of gold !!), Doodlebug, Seven papers (an adorable cat & dog line called Baxter that also includes dies and wood veneers), Simple Stories, My Mind's Eye, Kaiser Craft, Jillibean Soup, and more.

* COREDINATIONS ... they are bringing out boxed sets of card bases and envelopes in an amazing array of papers. They go from fabulous metallics to Tim Holtz's kraft core papers. They also have sets in kraft with die cut edges, pearly whites and more. Some really great products to start your projects with.
And it's not just cards ... they have a huge new line of tags in various papers, shapes, and sizes as well as 12 x 12 papers. One of the most interesting papers is the metallic line that has a kraft core.

* HEIDI SWAPP :
- MINC ... a machine  that applies foil to projects as well as a full line of gorgeous coloured foils and products ready to accept these foils. The machine can also be used with anything printed on a laser printer. I previewed this a few weeks on the blog. Some very exciting possibilities.
- MARQUEE LOVE - these are amazing !! They are letters like you would see on a marquee and the come with their own set of lights. Simply pop the lights in, add the covers and you have a wonderful light up letter !! Or use the enclosed template and directions and embellish your letter ... add paper, glitter, tape, anything !! Fabulous !! Each letter is sold individually so you can spell anything you want !! (battery operated)

* PARTY SUPPLIES & HOME DECOR ... this has been a huge thing this year. Many of the scrapbooking companies have started offering decorations for home and parties and they are fab !!
I will have great garland kits, paper fans, giant rosettes, chalkboard hooks, vintage style hangers, chalkboards, and more. Great for that Pinterest look !!

So, as you can see, there are lots of great new items coming in the next few months. I am really excited to see them & try them. And watch for special events where you can try them too !! Enjoy !!
