ooooo ... just a quick one this week !

Wow ... the month/week/day has flown by so quickly. I have just a quick update today but will try to have more next week !
I am currently unpacking a box of beads & supplies so I am restocked on : headpins, stringing wire, memory wire, clasps, jumprings, eyepins, earring hooks, etc...
I have more of the Peacock beads - especially in some beautiful blues . Pretty excited about those !
A lot of you have been looking for the fine curved tubes that I used to make that double tube strand bracelet with the large oval stone. I haven't been able to get them but I did just get some that are a wee bit smaller in sterling silver. They do cost more but are not in the crazy price range by any means. They are $1.35 per tube.
Also in this box is CHAROITE , a beautiful vibrant purple semi precious stone .
And I have more of the vintage style beads individually and in strands, glass brick beads in nice strong colours , skull charms, and hopefully more snowman hats !
Somewhere in the box are the makings of the crystal snowman hats for the earrings. It will be probably Friday before I get those kits put together but I am trying to get them together as soon as possible. Then I need to order more tree parts !
I am in the process of trying to order Glitter Ritz ... an amazing product. The sparkle is unbelievable !! I hope to have news next week about that !!
So that's all for now. New paper products next week as well as hopefully some more sample products. I also have the Karen Foster Advent Boxes on their way here - quantities are limited so let me know if you want one ... or more !!
Thanks & hope to see you this week !!
Have a happy and fun Hallowe'en !!

Update October 15th ...

What ?? The 15th already ?? YIKES !! Hard to believe it is the middle of October. I have been working away on Hallowe'en projects but next week my focus will shift to Christmas ...'cause it's coming !!!
Check out yesterday's post for Hallowe'en Treat Bag Kits. Only $4.99.
I have some great new paper things in this week bead stock but last week there was a TON of new beads ...
PINK PAISLEE : new Christmas line called Mistletoe & Co.- really nice non-traditional colours with great accessories. And, of course, if you buy 5 sheets of paper you will get 25% off any of the accessories that you choose as well. The accessories include press-ons, brads, punch outs, borderlines, canvas patches, and stamps.
7 GYPSIES : bookcovers, Naked Pockets, Gator Clips, ATC & Photograph Display
SEI : mini ink pads in great colours ... bronze, chrome, ruby, ocean deep , and more

Fancy Pants : Glitter Cuts. They are the transparencies that are embellished with glitter. really pretty. Hallowe'en & Christmas designs, as well as everyday. They add a nice touch to a page or card.
How about that paper ? It is so pretty in real life ... the photo doesn't do it justice. It would be awesome for a family Christmas photo .

We R Memory Keepers: adhesive rub ons with sheets of glitter or flocking. Apply the rub on, put the glitter or flock over top, and the image is sparkly or fuzzy. What a great idea !! I have some that are especially made for greetings on cards as well as images.
MORE INEXPENSIVE STAMPS : Prima, We R Memory Keepers, Imaginisce
DOODLEBUG : Headlines ... adhesive titles for pages ... only $1 each !
LITTLE YELLOW BICYCLE : Hallowe'en products - felt stickers, clear cuts, and rub ons
TIM HOLTZ: OKAY !! I am so excited by this stuff !!! FILM STRIP RIBBON !!! It comes in a little film strip can and it looks just like film strip. It is so clever and so darn cute !! And the other item is ROCK CANDY - it comes in Distress Paint & Stickles. It dries in chunks so that it looks like rock candy or sugar crystals but it is clear so whatever is underneath shows through ...oh, so exciting !! There is a good video demo on Tim Holtz's blog. I plan to try it out this week or weekend. Can't wait !!
I am still on track with the 31 DAY CHALLENGE. I haven't missed a day ... yet ! Last night (DAY 13)I worked on some decorated Christmas bags. Tonight I have some stamping & kit production to do. And soooo many more Hallowe'en things to make !!
Have a great week and I hope to see you !!

Thursday Update Oct 8th ... CRYSTAL CRYSTAL CRYSTAL

Oh, there are some great new things this week !!
CRYSTALS ... lots of crystals. I have brought in a whole line of Chinese crystal. I have the briolettes in sizes 6mm, 8mm, 10mm, and 12mm in many colours. They are actually REALLY nice. I wasn't as impressed with some of the other shapes but these had that familiar sparkle that we love about Swarovski. The nice thing about the Chinese crystal is the price ... 6mm are .25 (compared to .65), 8mm are .50 ( compared to $1), 10mm are .75, and 12mm are $1 (compared to $2.99). So you still get great sparkle at a much lower price ... You can feature them in all sorts of projects now !!!Photobucket SEMI PRECIOUS ... beautiful LARGE turquoise beads/pendants, bronzite in various shapes & sizes, Picasso jasper , glass opal, pyrite (Fool's Gold), polished agate nuggets, GORGEOUS polished agate large beads/pendants in beautiful colours. And ... GOLDSTONE in straight goldstone, blue goldstone, and mixed blue & gold goldstone. This is a beautiful combination and I have it in rounds and ovals of various sizes. Really impressive !
BEADS & FINDINGS... new charms, clasps, metal beads, silver lined rectangles, lampwork pendants in various shapes and colours, new tube beads for bangle style bracelets, "noodle" tubes in silver plated instead of Sterling silver. LOTS TO SEE !!!
TREE & SNOWMAN EARRINGS/PENDANTS... I still have earring & pendant kits available.

I am still unpacking boxes from last week and expecting another order today ... so keep checking back !!
DAY 6 of 31 : I worked on layout & printing of invitatiosn and cards. Tonight is the fun part ... patterned paper, stamping, embellishing !!

DAY 5 of 31

Hello !
Made something last night ... I unfolded & recovered a take out box for Hallowe'en. It was pretty easy. I just had to patch the paper on the flaps as it is a bit wider than 12" but really no problem ! Then, instead of putting the handle back on, I just added sparkly brads. It needs to be embellished next, and then maybe filled with branches like a vase or CANDY !!
(I may need to clean up my table next ...)
That's all I did but in my defense ... ( now it sounds like I think I'm on trial !!) I also did laundry, grocery shopped, made hot pepper jelly, cooked a pork stew for tonight, did dishes, and made some party reservations. Not bad for one night I think !!

Day 2 of 31

"Pam, are you crazy ?? I can't make 31 things in 31 days !!"
That's what I'm hearing. It's so funny. But I'm not talking sweaters or quilts, completed. I am only saying to take some time each day ... you may not complete anything for days. That's fine - just give yourself the gift of some creative time . And the answer to the other question ? No, supper doesn't count. That is a whole other 31 day challenge !!
Thanks to those of you who are joining in !!
